Responsible for sheet metal repairs on aircraft and component parts. Skilled in blueprint reading, layout, repair methods, and manufacture of parts. Accomplishes all maintenance forms required by duties and performs other related duties as assigned.

Fabricate or repair upholstered production and aircraft parts. Responsible for monitoring and controlling shelf life of consumables inventory. Responsible for monitoring and controlling material usage in the shop.

To keep an airplane in operating condition, aircraft and avionics equipment mechanics and technicians perform scheduled maintenance, make repairs, and complete inspections. They must follow detailed regulations set by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) that dictate maintenance schedules for different operations.

The Avionics Technician, under the administrative direction of the Avionics Supervisor, trouble shoots and repairs avionics equipment. The Avionics Technician also upgrades and adds equipment in accordance with FAA standards and customer requests and performs other duties in the Maintenance Department, as necessary.
